The Bruce

An Anglian Nobleman who is the head of the Bruce Family.

His manse and the surrounding settlement is called The Bruce's Seat or locally The Seat.

His lands are on the Western Tarstone Road, west of the lands of Lord Jackson and just east of the lands of Lord Dancy - (near the ancient location of Jackson, TN).

The Pine Mounds on his southern lands were overwhelmed by a dark magic for many months during 2433 until the summer of 2434 - coming to be known as The Whispering Wood. They were in fact occupied by Aleksandr, a Magician from the Underworld who sought to establish rulership of Anglia - or as he called this Upper Shadow. Aleksander had brought hundreds of minions to these lands, constructed a castle and his minions terrorized the countryside for nearly a year, with a catastrophic effect of the Bruce's lands and the Bruce himself.

The Purging of the Whispering Wood by Our Heroes in July/August of 2434 caused the Whispering Wood/Pine Mounds to be consumed in a fiery apocalypse.

The Bruce's Son, The Young Bruce, encountered by the party near the end of the adventure, appeared to be intelligent and popular young man who might prove a better ruler than his father.
