Tears of the Dragon (distilled spirits)

• Alcohol distilled from grain, in particular corn, by Tanner Hawkwood - after some early, dangerous, failures.
• It is first distilled in the winter of 2434-35 at East Point Ranch.
• The lack of any available Miner Water and the presence of fermenting corn feed for their horses led engineering geek and occasional heavy drinker Tanner to reverse engineer the strong liquor.
• Our Heroes are not aware of any Anglian sources of distilled spirits.
• The first product is raw and harsh and recovery from consumption is often aided by healing.
• Tanner has discovered that the alcohol takes on flavors from the barrels it's stored in and tastes better the longer it sits. He's also begun to experiment with the taste of the product.
• Faolan sees the liquor as a potential source of riches, while Sampson warns that if the stuff becomes widely available it could have a negative effect on the whole of the 'eastern people' (as he often calls Anglians).
• The Checotah at East Point have begun referring to the liquor, without negative connotation, as 'Horse Piss'.
• Locals who have sampled it have simply dubbed it "East Point".
