Purging of the Whispering Wood

The Pine Mounds on The Bruce's southern lands were overwhelmed by a dark magic for many months during 2433 until the summer of 2434 - coming to be known as The Whispering Wood. They were in fact occupied by Aleksandr, a Magician from the Underworld who sought to establish rulership of Anglia - or as he called this Upper Shadow. Aleksandr had brought hundreds of minions to these lands, constructed a castle, and his minions terrorized the countryside for nearly a year, with a catastrophic effect of the Bruce's lands and the Bruce himself.

The Purging of the Whispering Wood by Our Heroes in July/August of 2434 caused the Whispering Wood/Pine Mounds to be consumed in a fiery apocalypse.

Our Heroes set out by boat from Brown's Ferry on the morning of _______. Faolan and Tanner were accompanied by Samson and Ahnah, and the four passed a boring twenty-or-so days fishing, reading, and trying not to piss one another off too much. Tanner and Ahnah were still irritated that Faolan had dragged them off ot the Underworld, and they weren't crazy about this current trip either. Samson was simply excited to be getting out of Brown's Ferry, and away form Bexar.

At Faolan's insistence, they had brought along two huge hogshead's of good ale, in hopes of lubricating their passage through the Shoals, a place Ahnah claimed was particularly paranoid of outsiders.
