Formerly, the House-mother for the Wayne family, this lady is now the Matron Companion for Young King Grey. Oddly enough, it often appears that Cyrus Wayne, whom she raised, is almost her servant.

She is one of the very few people who know that John Davies was not Grey's father, and that Queen Anne was not truly a Wayne, but the child of John Brown and Miss Macon.
