Agrippa Gahanna
Lord Agrippa Gahanna is an Anglian noble, and is known as the greatest warrior of Anglia. His lands lie on the north-east reach of Anglia. Lord Gahanna was the primary rival of Lord Evans, and was instrumental in defeating Lord Evans' Rebellion. The Gahanna lands are rich in scrap iron and steel, thus supplying the Gahanna family with much wealth. Lord Gahanna has one of the greatest libraries in all of Anglia.
Lord Gahanna is one of the foremost military minds of North Anglia, and he commanded the forces that restored The Little King Grey to his throne, during The Troubles. Rumors abound regarding his involvement with Queen Anne, but this appears to be just rumor to Our Heroes.
A few years back, Lord Gahanna is rumored to have been involved in the disappearance of the Queen Regent and King Grey; no one knows the full extent of his involvement, although a few sharp-eyed observers in Greensburg noticed some men sympathetic to Lord Gahanna conversing with a man and woman from the South, along with a man who appeared to have Northmen blood in him. However, the general populace of Anglia would not have a clue about Gahanna's involvement.
While visiting the Gaels, Faolan and Tanner learned that Lord Gahanna is actually the son of Jock Ryan, who is currently First Gael. During a state visit, Gahanna's mother became Ryan's lover, and she passed the child off as that of her husband. Northmen visitors have often commented "he looks like a Ryan". Faolan informed Gahanna of what he has learned, but has told no one else. As Faolan told Gahanna, "Us Salt-Children need to stick together".
Faolan has used his mind-reading ability to search Gahanna's thoughts, and found him to be loyal to Grey and Anne.
In the Spring of 2438, Agrippa Gahanna renounced his fealty to the Anglian Crown, and declared his family lands to be "The Kingdom of Gahanna".
