The Kingdom of Bexar

• The Kingdom of Bexar lies west of the Great River, and is a portion of what is commonly known as the Borderlands. Bexar is said to be known for vast, open plains, some dense forests, and occasional hills and even mountains. The people of Bexar are called Bexari.
• Bexar had a king, and the presumed heir to the throne is thought to be Princess Bexar, though we do not know much of their political system.
• Our Heroes visited there in Spring 2433 and made a positive impression, to say the least.
• Bexar City was the capital of The Kingdom of Bexar, and it is a mound city.
• There are Bexari who lay claim to lands east of the Great River, in particular, a cousin of Princess Bexar.
• There was word of trouble with the Rios - Summer 2433.
• Subsequently Our Heroes arrived in Bexar as their people were largely transformed into walking dead, Bexari Dead, by some spell or disease brought by the Rios.
• With our heroes help, and at the cost of many lives, Princess Bexar and Samson escaped, along with Toomsuba and four female healers.
• The Bexar were almost entirely wiped out - see Death of Bexar - Winter 2433-34.
• For more than a year and a half none of Our Heroes or the Bexari had returned.
• In North Anglia and the Frontier it has come to be referred to as 'Old Bexar' by Episode 8
• Our Heroes were captured and ritually executed there in late Spring of 2435 (they got better).
• The Rios separatists leaders and their army were defeated in Episode 8. Their people generally retreated or spread throughout the region - Fall 2435.
• Samson and the former Princess have returned there and begun to reestablish their lost Kingdom as New Bexar.
