Episode 11

Meeting With the King's Council

• Our Heroes returned to Anglia City along with Lord Gahanna to meet with the Queenabout the attack by Reed men on The Price.
• They are met by two handsome young Gents who are evidently intended (probably by Lord Matthew Davies) to vie for the hand of the Queen Regent. The boys are named Joshua Macomb and Herschel oc Tiren. Herschel greeted Our Heroes on behalf of his elder brother, Adhevan, whom he said had been 'very busy' of late.
• Tanner, Faolan, and Lord Agrippa Gahanna meet with King Greyand the King's Council, including Queen Anne, Lord Matthew Davies.
• It appears that the Queen Regent, or perhaps Lord Davies, has been making moves to diminish the control of the Anglian Noble Families over the operations of the government. None of the members of the King's Council are of Noble Houses.
• Lord Gahanna, in letting Faolan brief the Council in regards to Lord Reed's attempt to seize The Price, referred to Faolan and Tanner as Anglian subjects. Faolan corrected him, and some tension resulted. This tension amongst the assembled nobles increased as Faolan and Tanner related their observations and opinions.
• It is revealed that, while the Fish Lords have been paying their taxes, none of them have come south to swear fealty, and all of their family members left Anglia City a few months back.
• A plan was made for Tanner, Faolan, and Arabella, (a mage & close friend of the Queen) to travel to Reed's Manse at South Gate, and beyond if necessary, to investigate the situation with Fish Lords, and this apparent act of rebellion.
• After the meeting, the Council, Gahanna, Tanner, and Faolan met and spoke more plainly. Davies expressed his understanding of and gratitude for Faolan and Tanner's loyalty to the Boy King.

Faolan and the Queen

• A big state dinner is held, and when Faolan has the opportunity to speak alone with the Queen Regent, he proposes marriage. She takes Faolan to bed, perhaps to avoid answering. During a long, sleepless night, Faolan tells Anne what he has learned of her parentage (Miss Macon and John Brown)and her daughter, Ahnah.

North to South Gate

• While on the road to South Gate, Our Heroes and Arabella stop in Bridgeton, where Tanner is told by a Kaluut seer named Esmer that his sister dead and that he will encounter a 'Devil'. Faolan meets with the seer and conflict with a new 'Emperor' are foretold.
• While in an inn one day out of South Gate, Our Heroes are attacked by female Underworld assassins, who are quickly defeated. This reaffirms the suspicions raised by the meetings with the seer that the Underworld is involved.

Portal/Oracle to yet Another World

• Once in South Gate, Our Heroes find that a warehouse is home to a massive magical column/portal. They defeat the Underworld Squad defending it and decide to enter the top of the column.
• Our Heroes enter a 'different plane' and dispatch an Underworld Mage Squad. A slave mage named Petra is freed & cared for by Arabella. Our Heroes rescued a group of beautiful, pacifistic people who called their home Elysium. Concerned about time loss Our Heroes returned through the portal.
• Our heroes fled South Gate and rode hard for Anglia City to report their discovery, nearly killing several horses.

An Army is Raised

• On the report of Our Heroes, King Grey I and his council 'Called the Banners' and began to raise an Army to lead against South Gate.
• Tanner and Faolan return home and raise a regiment of over 200 Frontier archers, infantry, and siege engineers for the fight and Tanner is given command of the New Frontier Army.
• Our boys learn that Seth Adams has turned East Point into a thriving business and Frontier training center.
• Tanner learns from Miss Macon that his sister is alive and that Arabella knows her whereabouts. Tanner learns that Sheryn Hawkwood may be alive in Anglia City. Tanner is reunited with her in an emotional reunion.
• The New Frontier Army joins the Anglian Army led by Gahanna and over 5000 men marched on South Gate, where over 25,000 Underworld soldiers waited.
