Episode 10

• Tanner is challenged by a swordmaster at Martin's Ferry to prove his worth. Tanner used the vambrace that he'd received from Ahnah, that allowed him to haste himself, and he defeated Duffy, one of the Lord Gahanna's top instructors. The fight had been orchestrated by Gahanna to demonstrate to his own men Tanner's physical prowess. This allowed Gahanna to enlist Our Heroes to:
• Our Heroes and Regan are charged by Lord Gahanna with delivering tribute, known as the Price to the First Gael of the Northmen
• Regan, Faolan, and Tanner fend off an attack sent by northern Anglian nobles, known derisively as the Fish Lords.
• Our Heroes stay at a farm known as Glenn Gardens with the family of a Northmen who has settled and married an Anglian wife in the generally unoccupied land between Lord Gahanna and The Falls.
• Regan, Faolan, and Tanner rescue the fort of the First Gael from an attack by the Kaluut
• Upon the First Gael's death, Faolan, Regan, and Tanner are given judges' roles in the selection of the new First Gael, which was done via a story-telling competition
• The leader of Clan Ryan is selected First Gael, and Faolan and Tanner give him the tribute. Regan becomes his chief mage.
• Tanner and Faolan report back to Lord Gahanna about the new First Gael, the Fire Cult, and the ambush. Faolan and Tanner ride with a small cohort of Gahanna and his men to warn the Queen Regent, arriving in the Capital on 7-20-36.
