Adhevan oc Tiren

He is a wayward second son of the Tiren family. He wasn't in line to inherit the title and was uninterested in joining the church.

Having a noble's education and tastes, but lacking a noble's prospects, he sank into debauchery and brawling, and more than the occasional duel. As his indiscretions generally occurred South of the Brown River, he was not disowned, but the family certainly did not go out of the way to mention him or his relation to them.

A lack of judgment concerning women and drinking partners, led to him becoming practically destitute. He sold off his quality weapons (which included a claymore with the family crest on it) and armor to settle his tavern bill and re-equipped himself with low-quality weapons - all he could afford with the remaining funds.

He hasn't really the skills for a real profession and the wrong disposition for manual labor, and in order to fund his drinking and whoring, of which he is fond, and to avoid starvation, of which he is not, he sought work as a caravan guard with Frontier merchants. During one such stint, he met up with Our Heroes, and formed something of a friendship with them.

Continuing Story

He was nicknamed "The Gent" by Jake during the groups' first Adventures. He is a moderately-skilled estoc/main gauche fighter. During the difficult period after the death of King John I, "The Gent" returned home to help his family. The last we heard, he was a diplomatic aid (i.e. hostage) in Anglia City. His family was believed to be secretly loyal to Young King Grey and was out of favor with the King's Regent, Lord Evans, despite being ostensibly on his side. In the aftermath of the The Troubles, Adhevan and his family are thought to be faring well.
