A Farewell to Charms

Upon the return from the Reconquest of Old Bexar, Princess Bexar tries to speak to Tanner. For once, he shows some backbone and steel. He tells her to go in peace and then looks her dead in the eye. His mouth says nothing, but the rest of his face said "Don't ever speak to me again". Tanner walked off without so much as a hug, leaving a stunned and saddened Princess.
